Shakira Get Banned at Santiago Bernabeu

Shakira, the Colombian pop diva, is now banned from Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. Ok, not the person actually, but only her song. So it means, we won't be hearing Shakira's song in a home games at Santiago Bernabeu anymore.

There are no reason mentioned regarding the 'weird' decision, however, we can jump into conclusion, that it has something to do with Barcelona's player Pique relationship with Shakira. Of course, it's just an assumption, but what could be the real reason ??

The thing is, Shakira onced admitted that she is a big fan of Real Madrid, and Florentino Perez even gave her a number 5 of Madrid shirts on his early year as a club president.

Hmm...is that how much they hate Barcelona ??

Victoria Beckham Gets Clueless in Naming Her Future Daughter

Victoria Becham probably won't be naming her two pet dogs, Twiggy and Coco, if she knew that someday she'll be having a daughter. The last 2 names have been claimed as her favorite name for her future baby girl years ago.

"For years, Victoria wants to name her daughter Coco. The name was taken from the famous French fashion designer, Coco Chanel,"said a close friend.

However, after 2 sons, she finally gave up and instead used the name for her dogs.

Later, Vic also mentioned that she likes the name "Luna", and wanted to use it for her third child. Again, with her third son, she had to forget about the name.

Unfortunately, "Luna" is now taken by Frank Lampard and former fiancee, Elen Rivas daughter's name. Her other name choice of Megan and Matilda also taken by her close friend. And now she's out of choices. Any suggestion ?

Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi Join Forces In Japan Charity Match

FIFPro is planning a charity match that will include the World All-football star vs Japan this year. The date hasn't been decided yet, but probably on May or December.

Various football association globally have been contacted, including FIFA. The good thing is that they replied with a positive feedback, which means they have agreed to support the event.

OK, if we talk about a World class footballer, then Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine comes to our mind. And now we should be excited to know that the three players were up to join the World All Star selection. So to see Ronaldo with Messi on the same team, dribbling the ball one to another, is a possible thing.....

Right now, FIFPro is preparing for the match schedule, and coordinating with the Japan's player association. As for Zidane, who has experience in charity matches, he already agreed to participate.
And don't be surprise to hear David Beckham and Ronaldinho as player that also expected to be on the event.

Jose Mourinho's Fun Match With Staff and The Press

Today, right after Real Madrid morning's training session, Jose Mourinho was having a fun and relaxing match with the staff. The coaching staff, equipment managers, medical staff, and Communication Department staff all join forces to play against a group of journalist that used to report the activity at Valdebebas. Mostly were from AS, Marca, Cuatro, or Antena 3.

Mou started his role as a goal keeper, and managed to save the goal until the first half ended. Real Madrid staff made their first goal, through Jose Morais, before the half time.

On second half, Mourinho switched to striker position, but most of the time he was just fooling around, pretend to fall from a slight contact with an opponent, asking for a free-kick or a penalty. (I really hope this isn't the way he teach the guys....)

However, after 60 minutes, the match ended with a victory for Team Journalist with 3-2.

Iker Casillas and Sara Carbonero Escape Holiday With Helicopter

Last week, Iker Casillas wanted to have a decent private getaway with girlfriend Sara Carbonero. In order to escape from the press, the couple rented a helicopter at the Cuatro Vientos aerodrome, to fly them to somewhere quiet without anyone follow them with their cameras.

Sara Carbonero Earns €1 Million Per Year

Thanks to Telecinco, and all her statement about Cristiano Ronaldo that makes her more famous, now she can collects the rewards by all the income she made this year.

The female journalist has earned around € 1 million per year, that is €450,000 from her contract with Telecinco, €50,000 from Ana Rosa, € 12,000 more from her participate in Italy's Berlusconi channel, plus her extra income €25.000  from a show with Marta Fernandez and Pilar Rubio.

As if it's not enough, her new work in Los Manolos also give her another extra €150,000. In total, almost €700.,000 she earned from journalism.

And for her endorsement deal, she received € 120,000 from her ads with Pantene, €18,000 from Ford, and  €12,000 from Puma. She will also sign a contract with a fashion brand that will add her bank account another €200,000.

Sara Carbonero Interviews Gerard Pique (25 March 2011)

Gerard Pique made it clear that he and Shakira are definitely dating, on an interview with Sara Carbonero last Friday in Deportivos 4. (judging from his answers to Sara's question)

During the interview, Sara asked questions about football aswell, but let's skip that part, and just move along to the 'Shaki' part.

First, rather than strict to the 'girlfriend's question', Sara chose to ask Pique his favorite singer, hoping that he might say the Cuban singer's name. And without hesitation, he answered "Shakira". And for the next questione, he mentioned "Waka waka" as his favorite song.

The Barcelona player also confessed that his favorite dish is Cuban rice, again, has something with Shakira on it.

And Like Cristiano Ronaldo, he loves to use Twitter and Facebook to communicate with people, where he often posted personal pictures on his Twitter.

Gonzalo Higuain Returns On the Pitch

Today, Gonzalo Higuain returns at Valdebebas to play a practice match. He proved that he still got his magic touch, by scoring twice and gave one assist. Not bad for a starter, after off for a few months.He played for 60 minutes without any trouble, so probably Mou will play him against Sporting Gijon at April 2nd. However, it won't be easy for Higuain to get back on the pitch, since Mou seems to be satisfy with Benzema and Adebayor performance.

Coleen Rooney will Meet Jenny Thompson and Woods aka 2 Vice Girls

Cristiano Ronaldo Flew to Portugal For Injury Check Up

Cristiano Ronaldo traveled to Portugal yesterday for having a medical check up,  to see whether he's able to play or not. Along with him, Carvalho also travelled to Obidos, Portugal,  to be examine by the doctors.

After a few test, Portugal coach, Paulo Bento decided to released Cristiano on national team duty, and to return to Madrid for a further rehabilitation. But for Carvalho, his condition is considered to be fit on time for the 2 friendly matches, so he didn't get released by coach.

For Ronaldo, being  sided off from Portugal team, made him felt sick of all his injury, and want to recover 100%..

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr Christening Ceremony This Summer

It's almost a year, and we still haven't see Cristiano Ronaldo and his son Cris Jr together in a picture. But knowing that Cristianinho's christening will be on this summer, then I guess it won't be too long.(yay!)

At Portugal fashion week this month, Katia spoke to the media that she will be the godmother of Cris Jr, and that the christening ceremony will be this summer, right after the football season is over.

If it's true, then it will be the biggest event for the family so far. But I'm guessing that it will be a private and closed ceremony, and paparazzi have to work extra to get their pictures

Wayne Rooney Enrolled Son Kai To Football Classes

Wayne Rooney wants his son Kai to follow his footsteps in football so badly, he even enrolled him at Socatots - a sort of school for small kids to learn their ball skills and improves their coordination.

Kai is only 16 months now, so maybe it's a bit too soon for the poor baby, where he supposed to learn a lot more important things as a toddler.

With his son enrollment in a football school, maybe Rooney will advice his pal Cristiano Ronaldo to do the same, and put Cristiano Jr. to football classes for toddlers. Just imagine in another 15 years, those kids going to be the next generation of CR7 and Wayne Rooney....

Cristiano Ronaldo Injury After Atletico - Sidelined 2 -3 Weeks

After the clash with Atletico last weekend, Cristiano Ronaldo felt pain and had inflammation on the biceps femoris of his left thigh. The Real Madrid forward got examined at the Hospital Sanitas La Moraleja, for determine the seriousness of the injury.

The result, Cristiano diagnosed with a muscle injury grade I (with a lot of medical words that I definitely don't understand) on the left leg, and will be ruled out for about 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the recovery.

Ronaldo had a similar injury when he played against Malaga, March 3rd. He recovered, and returned to CL match against Lyon.

Now, the injury will make him sidelined for Portugal friendly against Chile and Finland this month. Also, he could be absence for Champions League quarter finals against Tottenham Hotspur, on April 5th.

I don't know if anyone has noticed or not, but Cristiano often get injured when he is about to have a national friendly match. Coincidence ?? Hope so....

Mourinho Told Cristiano To Shut Up on Madrid Derby

Although Ozil just added their points, the Portuguese was busy complaining to the ref, trying to get a penalty while his teammates still celebration Ozil's goal. Soo..jealous.... Cristiano accompanied Irina wherever she goes, during her stay in Madrid. The papz in Madrid were taking a lot of pictures of them together, but none of the pictures were with Cris family. It's very rare to see Irina with Cris sister or mom, but it's not surprising though. We all know that Iri can't speak Portuguese, and Dolly definitely doesn't understand any words in Russia, and poorly in English.

So I must say, a conversation problem is the only reason for them for not getting along too well....

Champions League Quarter Finals Draw - Real Madrid Strong Opponents Will Be....???

Champions League quarter finals draw will be held on Friday March 18th, at Nyons headquarters. Real Madrid  could be facing Manchester United, Tottenham, Chelsea, InterMilan, Shakhtar Donetsk, Schalke 04, or Barcelona.

According to Cristiano, right now, Schalke 04 is the strongest team, and would like to see Raul Gonzalez, Real ex captain, back at Santiago Bernabeu with his current team, Schalke.


"Schalke is a good team. Raúl will return home. Barça do not want to face them right now because for me they are the strongest team. It's fine if we have to meet, because everything could happen in a playoff. I'm looking forward, and we'll see what awaits us in the draw," said the Portuguese forward.

Support Message For Eric Abidal From Real Madrid and Lyon

Real Madrid team along with Olympique Lyon showed their sympathy and support for Eric Abidal regarding his plan to undergo surgery for a liver tumor.

The players actually wanted to wear the shirt with supports slogan when the match started. Both team, during the morning meeting already persuade UEFA to allow the players to showed message to encourage the French player. However, UEFA has not agree with the idea, but allowed them to wear it after the match.

In addition, before the match started, they projected a message "Support Abidal Courage" on the scoreboards. The crowds join the support by giving Abidal a standing ovation for nearly 30 seconds. On the speaker, the Whites also sent encouraging message to the Barcelona players in the stadium.
